My Summary
About Me
I am a bright and bubbly person. I am extremely organised and find great joy in the smallest of things. I love exploring and keeping busy, but I also like to take time out and enjoy the space I'm in.
From the age of 16-18 I studied musical theatre at a specialist performing arts college. This brought me great joy and taught me how to communicate with people from all ages. I love musical theatre including: singing and dancing.
In my free time I love spending time with my friends and family- going on picnics is one of my favourite activities. I really enjoy spending time outside and experiencing nature.
My Experience
I have always enjoyed playing, reading and spending time with children and young people.
As I am a fully qualified teacher and have been teaching Year 3 (7-8 year olds) for two years.
I have been a summer au pair, looking after two children aged 7 and 4.
I have worked in a nursery full time, looking after babies between the ages of 1 and 2.
I have nannied, being sole charge of a 3 year old and 1 year old. I have been a mother help for a 6 week old baby. I have also been a camp manager at Camp Beaumont.
My Qualifications
I am a qualified primary school teacher. I have been teaching full time since September 2022. I trained at university in primary education.
While training and studying I worked multiple childcare jobs: I was a camp manager at Camp Beaumont, I was a nanny for a 6 week old baby, I tutored phonics online and supported a child homeschooling during lockdown, I was also an au pair.
Due to being a teacher, camp manager and my degree I have had multiple safe guarding training and multiple DBS checks.
Being a teacher has taught me lots about how children learn and the importance of their early years and what we as teachers and carers can do to support them in their learning.
I also have a Level 3 extended diploma in performing arts, I love singing, dancing and acting. The diploma taught me how to communicate well with adults as well as with children.
My Availability
I can tutor from March 2024.
I can do full time childcare from August 2024.
