Hi there,
My name is Rachel and I have lived in London for 12 years now. I moved here from Ireland where my family gave me the love for working with children! My mum had a successful Childminding business and my sister is a Pre School owner.
I love the London lifestyle and really enjoy my time here. I have the most amazing friends and enjoy experiencing new things with them.
Along with my current Early Year’s Qualifications, I have recently graduated with a degree in Early Years Leadership and Management from Kingston University.
I am looking to take on some ad hoc babysitting opportunities as I plan to take some time out to travel towards the end of 2024.
My Experience
I am currently an Operations Director for a group of family owned nurseries in Islington and St Albans. There are five nurseries within the group, four rated Outstanding and one awaiting inspection. I absolutely love my job and take pride in coaching my team to progress both personally and professionally. After all, they are the one that make the magic happen every day!
Previously I have worked in a range of different roles in nursery life, from Nursery Practitioner, Room Leader, Deputy Manager and Nursery Manager.
My Qualifications
- Degree in Early Years Leadership & Management
- CACHE Level 2 & 3 in working with Children
- Paediatric First Aid Trained
- DBS checked
- Full Driving License (own car)
- Safeguarding, Child Protection, Prevent Duty, FGM, Food Hygiene trained
- Mental Health First Aider

I am available for evening, nighttime and weekend as hoc babysitting.
