My Summary

My Experience

From a young age I have always known that I wanted to work with young children and jumped in with two feet when I was fifteen, completing my first week of work experience within a pre school nursery through a work experience program ran at my school setting. And all I can say if I LOVED IT!

Following this I began volunteering at my pervious work setting and did so for 5 months after leaving school. Leading in from my voluntary work I secured a place within an apprenticeship program completing my Level 2 qualification in childcare and swiftly moved on to my level 3 qualification. Throughout both of my apprenticeships I have worked alongside a child who had learning difficulties as a 1:1 SEN worker and loved every second, it has taught me so much about not only myself and my own abilities but also about new and different approaches and techniques to use with children to help promote learning.

I have also had previously experience caring for children from birth trough family and friends who have young children. Also within the nursery setting I am currently working at I am based solely within the baby room caring for up to three children alone between the ages of 0 months and 18 months and have lots of experience working alone and relying on my own knowledge to make decisions and to feel confident in my work and own ability.

I have loved every second of working in a nursery however nannying is something I have always been passionate about as I strongly believe building a bond with a child is priceless and being able to continue the journey with the child as they grow is an amazing gift.

My Availability

I am available to work week day and weekends however my ideal working week would consist of 40 hours spread over 4 days.

My Fees

• Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)

My rate of pay is nagatable dependent on hours worked, travel and number of children in my care
