I am seeking a long-term, part-time live-out nanny/Personal Assistant to provide care for a 12 year old boy with Autism/ADHD. I would also want childcare for my 6 year old girl. We live in Woodford Green, Redbridge. SEN experience desirable, but not essential.
Requiring up to 10-12 hours after school childcare or more per week. For 3 days after school. Hours are flexible and may change according to needs, including during school holidays. All negotiable and will always be agreed in advance.
The nanny must be reliable and punctual, preferably experienced in behavioural strategies. I require the nanny to attend after school hours around 3.30pm. Pick up for my daughter from the local primary school is also required on some days, from 3.15pm.
Support is needed to instill good routines and behaviour, prepare nutritious meals, help with homework, light housework duties, children's laundry, walks, bike rides to the park, and other general childcare duties.
Ideally, I would prefer if the nanny could commit to Tuesdays (the day I go into the office). All other days are negotiable.
This is a good opportunity for anyone seeking to expand their skillset in special needs, and to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and in partnership with home/school liaison, and Redbridge Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health Service (EWMHS).
