Working in various schools and nurseries for nearly thirty years . Working with age 3.6 year olds , Baby weaning from the age of 6 months onwards. I have been babysitting for nearly 42 years for family friends and working parents on night shifts . Have loads of experience with older children also 5,7 year olds up to 11 years old.

My Availability

I’m registered with Ofsted for children under the age of 8. Full DBS Checked
Monday to Friday
I offer flexible childcare, this is where short notice parents can call us for a one-off place for their child on any day in the week. This can be for parents who work shifts and only require childcare on the odd occasion or if a parent wishes to be child free for a few hours once in a while or if they have an appointment. We are only able to offer an unplanned place if I remain within my adult to child ratio, as I am limited to the number of children I can have at any one time. This can be arranged on the day or beforehand, for this service the charge is £9.00 an hour during regular hours and 10 pounds out of regular hours. You will need to come for a visit before any ad hoc can be offered. availability Monday-Friday.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
• Childminding from £9.00 per hour

My daily rate is £81 a day 8am 5pm
9am 5pm £ 72 day rate


Hourly rate £9.00 a hour (minimum of six hours a day) The minimum only apply's to permanent positions not Ad hoc.

Deposit is £200 to secure your space and is returned to you at the end of contracted hours.

All fees include breakfast, snacks, lunch and a light tea.

I have 3 cots 3 sleep mats.

Indoor resources and outdoor to cover the EYFS learning and development Curriculum playhouse, mud kitchen sit on riders buggies , large outdoor building blocks
Balance beams, table and chairs for arts and crafts activities indoor and outdoor

I also accept childcare vouchers.
I am also signed up on the tax free childcare government site.
Children’s day outdoor garden play, Pleasance wood themed park , St Margarets Church playgroup Exploring the outdoor environment on the Lane walk.
No availability but parents can be added to my waiting list.
