For childcare I have experience of one year as a nanny in Madrid and two years in London, where I worked closely with children of 4, 6 and 9 years old. I am from Colombia and a naturalized Spanish citizen, I consider myself a dedicated person with a loving family - my husband and daughter. Currently, I am actively seeking employment opportunities. My Experience
With children from 2 -7 years, 8-11 years, as a nanny, my responsibilities included afterschool care for the children. This involved picking them up from school, preparing snacks and accompanying them to various activities such as swimming, martial arts, English classes and arts and crafts. Also when I did longer shifts I helped them with their sleep routine, and we read them stories, In addition, we did different engaging activities such as games, arts and crafts, board games and puzzles. Some days we went to the park and I also helped with playdate supervision.
Overall, my role went beyond basic supervision, as I created an enriching and stimulating environment for the children, fostering their growth and development. In addition, my shift ended with the preparation of a simple dinner.
I like to play with the children in sports activities or creative games where we can put together puzzles or different crafts. I also like painting. I speak Spanish, and in my previous job, I spoke with the children in Spanish.
