About Me

My name is Bola. I'm married (husband is DBS checked) with two children (23-year old girl and 7-year old boy, a keen footballer). I am a caring and dedicated mother and a good listener. I love working with children and I endeavour to give them the best at all times. I am fun, loving and enjoy playing and I also believe that children learn and develop more in their early years through playing.

As an Ofsted registered childminder, I aim to ensure that all children who attend my setting have a wonderful learning experience in a warm, safe and secure, home-based environment with lots of fun and laughter.

I cook with fresh ingredients in order to provide children with healthy, balanced and nutritious food. Food is served in the kitchen which is messy-friendly.

My home is based in BR3 and has a big play playroom where learning, and fun activities e.g. role play, reading, musical instruments/singing and so on occurs. It also has a cosy sleep room and a downstairs toilet. I have a storage room with extra toys, where children can get more toys should they wish to.
I have a large garden with age appropriate equipment e.g. football, basketball, water and sand area. Children can play and enjoy outdoor activities in a secured place. I visit local libraries (with one being only is 7 mins walk from my house) and parks regularly (with my son who loves football) There are few parks around me e.g. Kelsey Park, Cator Park, Croydon Road Recreation Ground and Beckenham Palace Park where we also explore nature, outdoor play and learning.

I use the electronic app (Kinderly) to record daily activities and progress, so parents have instant access to what activities children did during the day. Parents are encouraged to also use the app, email and verbal communication to ensure continuity of care for the children.
