About Me

I am a qualified and experienced primary and nursery teacher. I am a mother of three young children, who, with the help of my husband, are home educated. My eldest child has been diagnosed with ADHD, dyslexia and has problems with processing and working memory, meaning that when I teach him everything needs to be visual and practical where possible. I am based in Yalding.

My Experience

I have been a teacher for 18 years and a private tutor for about 12 years. I specialise in Early Years, including nursery, Key Stage 1 and, in addition, have a thorough understanding and wealth of knowledge of Key Stage 2 and the 11+ by working as a tutor, both employed and self-employed. I tutor children of all ages and abilities, some with ADHD, ADD, ASD and dyslexia. I also have experience of teaching children who are home educated with emotional and/or behavioural issues.

My Qualifications

BA Hons Degree and Qualified Teacher Status. I have a DBS certificate. I am currently completing a Level 4 SEN diploma.

My Availability

I offer both 1-1 online and face to face tutoring depending on parents' preferences.
I also offer summer holiday booster lessons so your child returns to school feeling happy and confident.
