About Me
Hi I’m Liv, I’m 23 years old and have a passion for childcare. I have nannied for a few family’s now ranging from 6 months to 11 years old. I absolutely love working with children, I’m fun, bubbly and loving. I have a good knowledge of the EYFS also, and have completed many childcare online courses. I also have my own craft Business, which helps me come up with lots of ideas and activities for my families I work with, while also having a wild imagination!!
My Experience
My first step into the childcare world was baby sitting. This included family members, neighbours children, and children of family friends. I have baby sat for new born children as young as 3 months, up to teenagers.
I have also worked in a children’s play centre. This role required me to check the safety of the equipment, prepare food/drink for the guests, cleaning the play and food areas, and also to ensure all health and safety guidelines were being met.
This was a part-time job alongside university. I graduated from University in August 2020, and started a full time position at a Nursery in September 2020. This Nursery role has helped me develop the skills I already had in childcare, but also enabled me to learn more about the health and safety side to childcare, and the EYFS. I have now had 3 nannying roles and it has helped me gain the extra skills and knowledge. While also teaching me the house keeping side of things to. I am willing to help around the house, from chores such as washing up, washing clothes, bedding, and general cleaning also helping with cooking for the kids.

My Qualifications
I currently do not have any childcare specific qualifications.
I hold a valid DBS check and I have a full clean UK a driving license.(7 years driving)
My Availability
I am seeking a full time position. (I am currently expecting a baby of my own and would love to be able to continue nannying next year while also bringing my own child into the family home. This is also great for helping children to be social and build connections and relationships.
I won’t be speaking a role till January 2025 but if you are thinking about adding a nanny to your home around that time please do let me know.
