About Me
I have been babysitting and offering childcare services for over six years, in and around my home address in Leicestershire and whilst at University in Exeter. I am now living in London undertaking my Master’s Degree, and am looking to offer more regular babysitting services. I am reliable, friendly, and have always loved working with and being around children.
My Experience
I have over six years of experience, caring for a variety of children, ranging from four months to twelve years old, from loud and outspoken to introverted and shy, and from one child to five children. I have experience of both evening babysitting (including making dinner and putting children to bed) and day care (including taking children out for the day, making lunches and picking up from nursery or school). I also have experience with baby-specific duties, and thus am confident to take on a younger child. I am happy to help with homework and enjoy reading with children before bed - I tailor this to meet each child's need, from picture books, to me reading aloud, to listening to them read and helping where necessary.
My Qualifications
I have a First Class Bachelor’s Degree in History with Study Year Abroad, 4 A Levels A*-A, and 11 GCSE’s A*-A. I received the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze, Silver and Gold awards, and spent many years competing in sport at national level. I am first aid trained, have undertaken the NSPCC Safeguarding in Sport Training, have two years experience as a Learn to Swim instructor, and have a full UK Driver’s License.

I am very flexible, and can usually be called upon last minute, so please dont hesitate to message me and I will try and work around your needs!

We have had a number of babysitters and all have been lovely, but Connie-May was really outstanding. She kindly came to meet us before the day. She was very lovely, friendly, warm and enthusiastic. She has kindly picked my daughter from school and looked after her when I was in a meeting. She was very punctual, trusthworthy and communicates promptly. My daughter had an amazing day, she adores Connie-May and she is looking forward for the next time. We really appreaciate her help. Highly recommend.
