About Me
I had been a nanny for 13 years and became a childminder when i found out i was expecting my son Lucas, who is now nearly 18!!!I also have a little girl, Lexie who is now 13!
I love doing music with the children, cooking, messy play and art and craft!
We love getting out and about to the park and walking round our local lake to feed the ducks!! We visit our local toddler group and love meeting up with other childminders.
I live in st. john's with my husband Matt, our son lucas, our daughter Lexie, our 2 cocker spaniels Fleur & Reggie and our cat Gus.
I am ofsted registered and have been for 17 years now!
As my own children are at two different secondary schools I can no longer offer after school collections so I have early years children only. My mum Carole works alongside me in my setting.
My Experience
N.N.E.B Qualified, have a Certificate in childcare education, A certificate in working with babies. Safeguarding level 4. Paediatric first aid trained. Am ofsted registerd as a childminder and have been for 17 years, am also surestart registered! I am qualified in makaton sign language, which i love! I have taken an Intensive Photography course which I have found really useful too, I was previously a nanny for 13 years! My last family, twin boys (then aged 2) and their newborn brother i worked for, for 10 and a half years.
