About Me

We are looking for a mature, experienced nanny or an experienced childcarer who is looking to become a nanny to work 18-20 hours per week over 3 days in a nanny role in our family.

You will mostly be caring for our 18 month old girl during school hours, and then for an 8 year old girl and 5 year old boy for a couple of hours after school.

We are a bubbly, outgoing family who enjoy baking, going for walks, spending time outside and eating good food! We are looking for a nanny to become part of our family, someone who can easily adapt to our family routine (as well as suggest and guide us on any tweaks or changes you think we could make to make life easier!!) and to support and nourish us all with her enthusiasm, confidence and knowledge! We would like you to cook for the children (our children enjoy quite simple meals and recipes so no masterchefs needed necessarily!) on the days you are with us, take care of their laundry, bedroom and toys and love and support them as they grow up. It would be great if you could help out once in a while with online grocery shopping, meal planning and general household running too. There may be the option for “overtime” and some night nannying if you are interested in this as well.

I work from home on a self employed basis so will be around often to help assist with anything. I take our daughter to a couple of baby classes each week but joining in with our local playgroup and going to play dates once or twice a week would be great.

We would like you to work all year round, so this isn’t a term-time role, and therefore responsibilities may change a bit in terms of care for the children over the holidays.

Holiday entitlement is generous as we regularly have grandparents to stay and help with the children and so you would get additional holiday days throughout the year in addition to the standard allowance.

We are looking at an initial trial period/contract of 6 months with a view to extend for longer afterwards. We would like to start working with you as soon as possible (although we have a current 4 week notice period with our current arrangement) so please do get in touch asap if you think we might be a good match!
