My name is Jens and I am 22 years.I am originally from Germany but I have lived in New Zealand for a year, working as an Au Pair and I have lived in the UK since 1,5 years now. I live in Gossops Green in a shared household. In my free time I like to meet my friends and traveling around the world. My favorite hobby is athletics, especially throwing the hammer.
I have been working for EasyJet for 1,5 years now and I am based at London's Gatwick airport.
My Experience
My most important experiences with children are my godchild, my local community in Germany and working as a live-in Nanny in New Zealand. I really like looking after children. In Germany I looked after my Godchild and his 2 siblings (4 year old girl, 6 year old boy and 12 years old girl). Sometimes we go skiing together, we puzzle together or we read a book. He is a very active boy and likes to play outside, so if the weather is wonderful we play with water in summer or jump together on his trampoline. Next to these I really like babysitting at their house.
For a long time I worked at our local community. For example we organize to go go to our local sport clubs, so all the kids can do some sport like playing football. Once a week we go on a day trip with the children, in an amusement park or in a zoo. These activities are planned for kids during the summer holidays who don't have the opportunity to go on holiday.
Lastly I have worked with two boys ( 6 and 10 years old) as a live-in Nanny in New Zealand.
I had to get them ready for school and drop them off as well as pick them up. After School we had to do homeworks and after school activities. During the holidays we planned things to do for the whole day. I have lived with them for 12 months.
My Qualifications
I speak fluent English as well as German.
I can cook and clean.
I have completed a small course of childcare in New Zealand prior my year as a live-in Nanny as well as over a 1000 hours of working with children in my local community in Germany.
My Availability
In the current situation I am available whenever needed as I have been put on furlough leave. I would be happy to work as much as I am needed to including overnights and weekends. Regarding the time when everything goes back to normal, I work on a rota which changes every week so I would be happy to help out wherever I can and wherever possible.

- Babysitting from £8.00 per hour
I am very flexible regarding pay and more than happy to talk about it.
