Hello, I'm Cristina, 31 years old.
I have been looking after children for the last 6 years. I have vast experience from newborn to 6 years old. I have a degree in psychology with the final work on "Psychology and Education".
I am super punctual, affectionate, responsible. I have safety conscience and First Aid Course. I love taking care and playing with the little ones. They are always very spontaneous and smart.
My approach it is based on mutual respect. I use positive discipline whenever possible. And I try to distract them with other things when we can't do a certain thing they would like (because it's dangerous or because it's simply not possible). Always explaining the "why" of things along the way.
I pay full attention to the kids and always let them know how much time is left for the next activity - for example "we have more 5 minutes to go home" when we are on the playground. I follow routines and it works great.

My Experience
2018-2019: I work as a teaching assistant at School Space Education (Brazil). Class of 14 students aged between 2-3 years old.
2018: I was a regular babysitter for a French family, looking at a 5 years old boy and 3 years old girl.
2019-2020: In September /2019 I started my work as an Au pair in the UK, looking at three children of 4, 3 and 0 years old.
2021 - 2022: Secretary at a school. Organizing documents, assisting parents. Receiving payments, etc.
2023: Nanny for a 4 years old bo and 6 years old girl.
