My Experience

Emergency Nanny: I work as an emergency nanny for two agencies part time since October 2023


English Teacher in the Dominican Republic for three months.

Summer Nanny: during the Summer of 2020 I worked as a nanny for a family with 2 children.

Babysitter: occasional babysitting twins for 2 years from the age of 7 to 9.


Nursery Assistant: My role as a nursery assistant includes making sure that the children are safe when playing both inside and outside, entertaining the children through singing, reading and role play;reporting any incidents and accidents to the room leaders; helping to feed the children; cleaning tables before and after meals and general cleaning of the nursery throughout the day.

Teacher: As part of my year abroad I taught English to children from 4 until 9 in the Dominican Republic.

Tutor: I performed the role of a tutor which required me to assist children (from 4 years old up to 14 years old) with computer based learning of maths and English. This role enabled me to acquire various skills such as patience which is vital when working with children as showing frustration or annoyance when a child is unable to understand something can affect their confidence. I terminated my role as a tutor in the middle of august in order to focus on a volunteering role for the last few weeks of the summer holidays.

Holiday Clubs: volunteering in summer holiday clubs doing arts and crafts, story times and sports activities.

My Qualifications

I have 3 A-levels A*AA

I have 10 GCSEs Grades A*-B including Maths and English.

• Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
• Nannying from £12.00 per hour (gross)

Minimum charge for babysitting is £13 per hour
