E.Ella is a real professional, easy to have around and builds a fantastic bond with the baby. Having E.Ella makes life that little bit easier at what can be an overwhelming time. E.Ella has in-depth knowledge on best practice guidance for all aspects of looking after a baby as well as a wealth of experience as a maternity nurse. There is not a scenario that she has not encountered, and I found her advice so informative and reassuring as a mother. E.Ella is organised, trustworthy and punctual and ensured that her approach to caring for my baby complimented our parenting whilst at the same time being confident to independently make decisions. She is proactive and picks things up extremely quickly, going the extra mile every time. E.Ella goes out of her way to ensure the smooth running and comfort of the family as a whole.E.Ella clearly really loves her job and is passionate about caring for babies. She is a loving and caring professional and we miss her in our family greatly, it was truly a pleasure to have her look after our daughter at the start of her life and she has made a profound impression on her. We are lucky to have met E.Ella and believe any family would be lucky to have her!
E.Ella is a great maternity nurse, she is very qualified, extremely experienced in baby and child development and full of useful advice especially for first time moms! She helped us with my little boy’s wind problems and establishing a sleeping routine to ensure he was sleeping through the night. She was great in engaging my baby in various activities, and recommending toys/activities/classes to help with his development. Finally, her advice on increasing breast milk supply worked like magic and we almost stopped using formula after she arrived. Many thanks to E.Ella! Strongly recommended!
E.Ella is a warm, patient, lovely person and very helpful. 100% reliable and trustworthy. She easily fit into the household routine and was very easy to work with. She knew exactly what to do for a 20 month old and was very vigilant to his needs. She clearly loves kids and our son warmed up to her immediately. He wasn't at all bothered by waking up and seeing her in the middle of the night, rather than his parents. When she started, E.Ella told me that generally people booked her and then kept extending. At the time I thought, are those people all extremely wealthy? In the end, we did the same: two nights turned into weeks. We were quite sorry to see her go as she was a fabulous support and allowed us to catch up on our sleep!

E.Ella was very reliable and trustworthy. She was extremely safe with my newborn and knowledgable on all baby issues. She was very flexible and fitted around our schedule. She even came back to babysit a couple of days when my baby was 6 months. She was professional at all times and integrated well with the family.
I would highly recommend her as a maternity nanny.
E.Ella was wonderful. She helped us cut the dummy out for our son Adam which took 3 days. She also changed his bottles to Dr Brown which improved his digestion. She helped us with his 2hr lunchtime nap by revamping his day routine and helped us get his sleep rhythm in order. All in all her experience really helped us and Adam sleeps a lot more than what he used to!
We loved her as a person, so warm and confident. We loved having her around!
E.Ella worked with us for just over four months and we felt incredibly lucky to have her. She was gentle and kind with our new-born baby and had great advice that helped us settle her into a good routine. The baby now sleeps through the night, which is much earlier than we managed with our other children, so we are hugely grateful. E.Ella was reliable and flexible when occasionally we needed an extra hour, she never let us down. And we found her good company at the end of a long day. Most of all we slept soundly knowing she was looking after our precious little one. We had a great experience with E.Ella and can’t recommend her highly enough.
to sort out baby’s feeding and winding issued. E.Ella was brilliant – she switched our bottles and showed us some great winding techniques and it all worked a dream. She is wonderful.
We loved having E.Ella and thought she was completely marvellous and just what we needed - someone for a short-term period to give us some little tricks and pieces of advice to help get on top of the baby’s colic and improve her sleeping patterns. And above all, for me, to give me the confidence to then deal with both the colic and sleep without feeling quite so helpless! I was never looking for someone long term and was worried about having someone parachute in at such late notice (thank you SO much for going out of your way to help make this happen) but E.Ella was great. It takes a certain type of person to come into a stranger's house and take care of their five-week-old baby with such professionalism and empathy so I couldn't recommend E.Ella more - she advised us on the kit we needed, helped with feeding and alternative therapy advice and she even tried to work her magic on our slightly looney spaniel!
Our experience with E.Ella is a great one and I highly recommend her as a night nanny. She has been helping us with our twin babies - boy and girl - which were born pre-term and for that reason very small (just 2 kg). The small size of the babies puts pressure on their development, weight gain, feeding schedule etc - and E.Ella has been invaluable in helping us navigate through that and give us great advice at each developmental stage. She clearly has vast experience working with infants and she can understand/ decode the situation and their behaviours and make helpful suggestions: our little boy is suffering from colic and E.Ella’s suggestions of how to improve the situation have been quite effective. Our little girl is smaller in size, a fussier eater and sleeper - and again, E.Ella could make a difference.
She is very reliable, punctual and has a strong personality, which personally I found helpful as there are too many voices and advice sometimes, and E.Ella helped clear the noise in some situations.
E.Ella was an absolute delight. Very confident and experienced. She could very quickly put us at ease, as our girl took to her immediately.
I was so lucky with her and my daughter
has allergy and she was so knowledgeable and the doctor prescribed wrong thing for her and she spotted it and she is so well now as a result. I was so unbelievably lucky to have her otherwise my daughter would have been in really bad way.
“E.Ella was wonderful and very experienced with newborn babies. She made me go and rest, of which I absolutely felt comfortable doing and she had great tips for baby massage, winding and ways to hold and lay my baby. I would definably book her again.”
E.Ella just finished her last shift with me for this year and she was so great I had to email you to let you know. It was really a stroke of luck that she was the one to accept my request for a nanny during the day when I was needing help with my son who was having difficulties with allergies / intolerances. I was looking for some support to watch over him during the day so that I could get some rest as he wasn't sleeping much while he was unwell, but with E.Ella I got so much more than that. She was a wealth of knowledge on allergies and intolerances and without her guidance I don't think I would have made it through the weeks. She has a very big heart, she cared for our baby as if he was her own, and was extremely dedicated and focused on helping us solve the mystery of his health issues. She made recommendations on formula, managing his most distressing moments, my diet, breastfeeding and specialists to see that proved correct each time. Without her by my side we would be a lot further behind in getting my son back to full health. His intolerances and reflux are now being managed so we can all start getting more sleep and have a happier baby.
Im really grateful we were able to have E.Ella the past few weeks and would certainly not hesitate to use her again in the future.
“E.Ella has been so helpful – and my baby has been so difficult with her food being lactose intolerant. She is always full of good advice, she is calm and so professional and always on time and so willing and reliable. I would recommend her to anyone and I would continue with her forever if I could afford to.”
E.Ella started working for us as a night nanny when our daughter was 1 month old. She worked for us for about 6 weeks. She is very friendly and experienced. She gave us lots of good advice and always arrived on time, which was professional and reassuring. I hope the above is helpful. Plus we always had a good night’s sleep. Best regards, Cecilia
“E.Ella is just wonderful with children of all ages – she is so good and so clever and brilliant at getting babies into a routine. She is a great nanny – my children loved her.”
“E.Ella is absolutely wonderful and so professional and she always on time very hardworking and so concerned about not waking us up – and she would stay longer in the morning. I was so pleasantly surprised – I would highly recommend her to anyone. She is such likeable and yet so emotional intelligence and very unobtrusive. She is not jobs worth she goes above and beyond the call of duty and anyone is lucky to have her.”
“E.Ella looked after my 8 month baby working a few hours in the day and all night. E.Ella was very nice and professional at all times. I would not hesitate to book her again and can recommend her.”
E.Ella was lovely and was very experienced with my 8 month old baby and we had no problems leaving her to take care of our baby, and would recommend her to other parents.

We hired Elke last December and came to regret that decision. She made many claims and came across very knowledgeable and caring, with 2 good references, but she has failed on her promise to get him to sleep through the night. But it’s not just the fact that she failed on her main promise, it’s that she blamed us for it despite us following all her advice to a t. Furthermore, she kept imposing her opinion on everything, complained terribly about all her past clients, but also she had no common sense how to be around our family. For instance, we hosted our extended family one weekend, she came downstairs after her shift, sat next to our guests at the table and helped herself to breakfast listening to personal conversations and sometimes opting to participate. She would arrive in the evening and would spend 2hrs talking to us,even if that obviously interrupted something we were doing at a time. We bought all the stuff she recommended and it all turned out to be useless. Her insistence on feeding our baby soya milk formula was irritating too. I could go into a lot more to tell what we didn’t like but to sum up I would just say I would not recommend her as night nurse.
