I am waiting for an operation and so not working right now but when I return I’m wanting to care for children on a Nanny type basis rather than as a Childminder for a while and then a mix of both, own home and my setting.
I am going to offer care for children of all ages and also Sen children within their own homes.
I have personal experience of visually impaired, physically disabled and severe autism so can relate with parents who need help with childcare but find it difficult to use a childminder or nursery.
I am fully committed to the children I care for and support their development ( EYFS ) so that they can reach their full potential at the same time as having fun.
As a grandparent to a disabled child I know that nobody can just step in despite having experience but instead need to learn and take time to get to know your child and yourself to create a supportive and positive relationship.
I can offer most half days or evenings/ babysitting plus Sunday daytime and evening.
My Experience
Ofsted registered Childminder with “Good” judgement from Ofsted. I previously ran a childcare business before moving here and starting
“ Mia-Kats Childcare/The Wynyard Nanny “ for well over 10 years caring for children and babies in Billingham. The childcare business was called “ LC Childcare”
Mia-Kats Childcare has been running since June 2021 and has become a loved small setting which offers total inclusivity and individual care.
I hold a level 3 in Childcare plus I have newborn experience. I also have Level 4 Send, lots of experience with children on the autism spectrum, Safeguarding, Paediatric First aid and full DBS. EYFS and tracking/Observations. My qualifications can be seen on meeting.
