About Me
My name is Cara, I am an Ofsted registered childminder & nanny and I have worked in childcare for 7 years. (I also do babysitting too)
When childminding I work from my family home and sometimes with my mother Caron (also a registered childminder) She has over 20 years experience in childcare and is an early years teacher. We have a dedicated playroom.
I have a full driving license and my own vehicle (I also have all stage car seats).
I am caring and patient and have lots of energy. I really enjoy organising different activities which will enable children’s development whilst most importantly having fun!
My Experience
I gained a childcare qualification at Bexhill college. I also have a paediatric first aid qualification and a portable DBS. I am a member of PACEY (Professional Association for Childcare & Early Years) who also cover my business with public liability insurance. I have worked in a variety of different childcare settings prior to setting up my own business such as: a registered childminder’s assistant, and a practitioner in 3 other nuseries including a large outdoor forest school nursery. These positions have been for paid work, work experience and as a volunteer.
I have worked with children from 5 months to 10 years. I have also cared for children with a variety of different needs such as ADHD, autism, epilepsy. I have experience with children for whom English is an additional language.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
Nanny hourly rate- £12ph (regardless of number of children)
Childminding rates per child per hour:
Over 5s before and after school £6ph (min. 2 hrs)
Under 5s 7am- 6pm £7.50ph
Unsociable hours - before 7am & after 6pm Bank holidays, weekends & over night £12ph
I also accept tax free childcare vouchers & 15-30 hour funded childcare
