About Me
I am a dedicated and qualified teacher, private tutor and a mum. I love to travel, spend time with family and friends, walk my dogs, exercise and generally enjoy life. I offer one to one and group tuition to key stage 1 and 2 children and young people and adults with special educational needs.
My Experience
I am an outstanding primary school teacher with 23 years experience across all subjects, age ranges and key stages. So I tutor children across both key stage 1 and 2 in any subject area. Also, I successfully help to build year 1 pupils’ confidence and knowledge of phonics in preparation for their phonics screening test. Moreover, I work with years 2 and 6 pupils to prepare them for their end of key stage SAT's tests.
Furthermore, I work with young people and adults with special educational needs and am a behaviour specialist. I believe learning should be fun and have high expectations for all of my students.
My Qualifications
BED Hons in Primary Education with QTS
A Level: Maths, English Language, Biology, Sociology, Bio-mechanics and Physical Education,
My Availability
I work in school from Monday to Wednesday, so I am free on Thursdays and Fridays, evenings and Saturday mornings for private tuition.
