Hello my name is Yasmin,
I am 24 years old with 6 years of childcare experience. I recently worked in a nursery up until 3 weeks ago when I decided to go full time at my second job which I was doing on the weekends.
I truly have a passion for working with children, I find it so rewarding watching them grow, develop their own personalities and building the confident to show their true selves. I am very much a people person, I like to think that I am a people person and if those who knew me were to describe me they would say I am hardworking, energetic, warm, welcoming, enthusiastic, loving, caring and a runner bean who loves being outdoors.
My Experience
My childcare experience started off in a pre-school where I did my work experience. I Worked with children aged 3-5, providing activities and learning opportunities whether this was inside or outside in the garden. After finishing in school I then studied childcare in college and got my level 2 qualification and then headed straight into full time work (as I like to be busy and I am always willing to learn) at a nursery where I achieved my level 3 childcare qualification.
I then took a spontaneous break after 2 years of working at the nursery as I wanted to do something different, therefore I went to work for TUI as kids club rep in Spain for 6 months - I have to say I absolutely loved this experience!
After returning to the UK, I went back to the nursery that I was at and worked there for a further 4 years as a nursery practitioner and then worked my way up to be a senior practitioner for the last 2 years that I was there. I have recently left the nursery due to wanting to go full time at my second job which I have also been doing for 6 years on a weekend alongside what was my weekday job.
I am currently working towards a manager role at my current workplace and am hoping to be in that role by the start of July working 30 hours a week.
My Qualifications
I have both a level 2 and level 3 childcare practitioner qualification
My Availability
My current hours are split - I worked monday and tuesdays (9-11.30) and then (4.15-7pm)
Wednesday - Friday I am currently only working 9-11.30am.
My availability on Mondays and tuesdays would be anytime between 12-4 and Wednesdays to Fridays would be anytime after 12pm
