About Me
Hi! My name is Sofia and I am a social worker. I live in Brighton but I am from Italy. I followed an animated reading course for educators, and I have a lot of experience as a babysitter, nanny, and supporter of homework for children and teenagers.
I am born in Italy and gained a lot of experience with babysitting and working in nursery settings. I gained an Undergraduate degree in Education at the University of Perugia, Italy. After I graduated I worked as a teacher assistant for young people with different disabilities in year 8,9,10 and 11 for a year. After that I moved to The Unites States in 2016 and lived there for fours years where I have been an au pair and live-in nanny for that period of time while studying at college and learning english. After that I moved to Scotland in 2020 and earned a postgraduate degree in Social work at the University of Dundee. In 2023 I moved to England and started working as a social worker for East Sussex County Council working for the Care Leavers service. I currently working with young people form the age of 14 up to 18 years old that are in the Care system.
I am passionate about music, and I played the flute for many years. I also love to travel, take pictures, watch movies, and explore cuisine from all over the world.
I like to care for children—I'll read for them, play with them, bathe, feed, cook, and take them to activities. I don't mind pets at all and love dogs. I have my CPR certificate. I can also heal by running errands and cleaning.
I am looking to earn extra cash in addition to my full-time job, so I am available at weekends and evenings during the week.

I have worked with children since 2014. I have experience with all ages - from babies to teenagers. I have also cared for kids with disabilities and was a special needs teacher assistant for 1 year. I am currently a social worker working with young people in care.
