About Me
With over six years of experience of working with children in a range of settings, I strive to ensure every child achieves their best and to reach their full potential. I have learnt through employment, and experiences during my Early Childhood BA (Hons) degree, that this is achieveable by understanding children’s different needs and interests. I have a caring, calm and kind nature with a bubbly personality that makes me approachable for children and adults alike, forming strong bonds to ensure they feel valued and listened to.
My Experience
I have worked in a variety of settings including schools, nurseries, holiday clubs and upon more recently at a childminders. During my time at the childminder's I learnt the importance of caring for children in a homely, nurturing environment, where children can experience the daily routines that take place inside a home. Whilst I have been here I have cared for children aged between 5 month- 6 years, including the childminder's own children. I also ensured to stay on top of keeping the childminder's house clean by doing basic houskeeping.
My Qualifications
*Degree- Early Childhood (Professional Practice) BA (Hons)
*A-Levels in Psychology, Sociology, English Language and Literature
Level 3 Award in Progression (Pre-teaching)
*10 GCSEs including English, Maths and Science (A-C)
*Level 2 in Food Hygiene and Safety
*Completed in the moment planning training and implemented this in practice.
*Courses completed through employment; Schemas, Enhancing practice with Hygge, Developing a loving pedagogy
* Safeguarding, Manual Handling and FGM trained.
* Full Paediatric First Aid trained.
My Availability
Preferbly 4 days a week- no weekends unless ocassional babysitting.
