Hello, my name is Lizzie and I am qualified Nanny in Newbury!
I would describe myself as a fun, positive individual who loves to take on a role to help support others.
I love the outdoors and I am also great with animals, so happy to look after pets on the side! I also enjoy cooking delicious meals and encourage children to always try new things (with allergies taken into account).
I always motivate the children to do their best with a great amount of confidence and to always enjoy themselves. I have always wanted to work with children from a young age. I have been passionate about helping children in all areas and try and make all activities fun and engaging for them, this includes school work.

My Experience
I currently look after 3 wonderful children for a lovely family Monday to Wednesday, I have also started to work Thursdays for another family. So my only available full day would be Friday, however can discuss Saturday as a potential day if needed!
I have worked with just under 2’s-3year olds as a team leader! Before this, I worked in the 3months-22month old room. Here, I enjoyed helping each child develop confidently in all EYFS and developmental areas. Alongside this I encouraged the children to explore new sensory and playful activities, personal care and healthy eating! I also managed the room and team, making the days fun and enjoyable for all, whilst
guiding practitioners to achieve the best care and training!
I have had experience working with 3-6-year-olds as a teaching assistant/ Teacher for a theatre school based in Newbury/Marlborough every Saturday. I worked here for 4 years and enjoyed every second of it. I encouraged children to do their very best and grow in confidence.
I have had work experience and work placement in a number of different nurseries across Newbury which I thoroughly enjoyed. At these nurseries, I have gained a huge amount of experience in the childcare world and now have skills in which will help support children in all areas.
