My Summary

My Experience

I have worked with children from 6 months up to age 12. Having experience in the EYFS and National Curriculum. I also have experience of working with children that have learning and global delays.

In my experience every child learns best when happy and content. Each child’s welfare and needs are the main priority within my home. I will always provide activities, learning experiences and engaging activities that help to progress and stimulate their personal and educational development. I believe heavily in children’s own voice and opinions. I endeavor to be child lead with the children’s interests and activities being reflected within the activities and play.

I make sure that activities we do together are broad and varied (the messier the better) with a variety of themes. This is to enable children to experience different situations and be ready for the world of school and independence. Some of these activities include: having the children prepare their own meals/snacks where age appropriate. Visiting different places: parks/woods/religious buildings/ beaches.

I track and do observations through an online system so daily diaries and activities can be seen by parents with ease without having the need to remember books and paperwork.

My Qualifications

From school I went into collage completing a level 3 in Early Years. I then went on to university where I completed my degree in Ba/Bs Hons Early Childhood Studies and Social Science.

Along with staying in education I have worked in many different nurseries and schools, with the aim of becoming a childminder.

My Availability

As i am fairly new to child minding i am able to be flexible with days and times needed. My hours are 7:30 am-6:00pm.
