About Me

I am an aspiring Art therapist with a nurturing and creative approach when providing support. I believe in creative, and innovative solutions when problems arise, and I have a true passion for helping individuals with special needs, or those who are considered to have complex needs.

I am able to work with a person centered approach and I would describe myself as creative, active and empathetic.

My Experience

I have experience supporting those with learning disabilities, and sensory needs for primary school aged children. This is where my passion lies and I feel that I have acquired a strong sense of my own emotional intelligence in order to understand the needs and emotions of others.

I have also looked after 2 boys aged 10 and 11 on and off for the past 6 years staying with them in their home, picking them up from after school clubs and doing arty activities with them.

Foundation certificate in Art therapy. (2019)
