My Experience

I have been baby sitting since I was 13 and officially became a nanny in 2020. I have worked with newborn, toddlers and various kids aged 1-12

I went to Teachers Training College in Trinidad at the University of Trinidad and Tobago- Corinth Campus. I also have experience teaching at the Primary level.

I am a huge advocate for the Montessori approach to teaching and enable kids with skills for them to be self sufficient, confident and independent individuals.

I place great emphasis on the importance of reading and limiting screen time with kids, exploring our surroundings, gardening and forming a healthy relationship with the food we grow and eat. I believe that kids thrive with the confidence we empower them with and they can literally do anything with proper support and encouragement.

Everyone is welcome at my setting. We celebrate everyone, their cultural and religious celebrations as I believe that this is what truly makes the world wonderful and teaching kids to be respectful, understanding and tolerant to others needs and beliefs is at the forefront of our setting.

We do have a 7 seater van for use for days out to the farms, parks etc.

Everyone that frequents my home (in laws) are DBS certified and First Aid trained.
