My Summary

My Experience

I have previously worked for two main families, this was for both nannying and babysitting. One family had a seven and five year old who I would pick up from their school, take them home, cook dinner for them as well as do homework and play with them until I finished work. When I worked a half term for them I found a new activity to complete everyday, such as baking cookies and cupcakes, pumpkin carving, painting, and taking them to the local park. I would babysit every other Friday as well. With my other family, I worked with one child who is eight, I have worked with them for about two years now. I have done both babysitting and nannying for them. I would complete homework with him, take him for walks as well as the local park. I would create new games with him as well as put him to bed on days where I would be there late. I also cooked for this family as well as clean up any mess made.

I also have experience with working with nursery children. I completed a three week voluntary work experience two years ago and my local primary school. I was a teaching assistant so I completed activities with the children as well as help take them to assemblies and lunch. I also collected work for teachers and tidied the classroom.

I have also worked with older kids for the past four years. I became a brownie leader at my local brownie troop in order to complete my Bronze DoFE award. However, I loved being a leader so much that after my 6 months ended I decided to become a permanent leader. I would again complete activities, handle the troops, complete badges, games and much much more.

At the moment I am studying for my Law Bachelors Degree.
