Hello!
My name is Charlie, I am 39 years old and gave birth to my first son Harvey is May 2020. Harveys dad is called Caleb, and he has 2 children from a previous marrige. Xante who is 18, and CJ who is 13. We also have a very sweet dog called Dexter who is 6 years old.
After Harvey was born he was diagnosed with Down Syndrome. The last 4 years have been a journey for us, discovering all the truths and shattering the misconceptions about the syndrome. Harvey is a brilliant little boy. Full of charisma, energy and strong opinions! He is starting school in September, and we are really excited for him to take the first steps on what Im sure will be a really fulfilling experience for him.
My Requirements
Caleb and I both work full time, and although there will be wrap around care at the school, we wont always be able to get there to pick him up before that finishes (at 6pm) so we are looking for someone who can pick him up a couple of days a week, and sometimes give him dinner/put him to bed if either of us have to work late. Occasionally we also would also request babysitting in the week nights or at the weekend.
It would be great to find someone who Harvey can learn to love and trust as part of the family, who we can call upon when there are clashes in our work scheudle.
