I'm looking for a nanny two days a week, Monday and Tuesday (2-6pm could start earlier if willing to walk the dog) ideally from September 2025 (but could start in May). We would even consider just one of those days being covered for the right person. During school
holidays we’d require longer hours covering ideally.
I'm a married mother of 4 children. The kids are 8 and 9 years (girls) and 12 and 13 years (boys).
Our lovely nanny of 6 years is having her first baby and isn’t returning to us. We really want someone who’s going to play with the kids (particularly the two girls)and just be an adult presence, make dinner, help with a bit of kids chores.
The kids get along really well. They are great kids. Polite, independent, helpful round the house and well behaved.
The younger two go to a primary school about 1.5 miles away from the house so would involve a school pick up. The two older ones let themselves in and out of the house from secondary school.
We also have a 4 year old border collie who’s well trained, obedient and just lovely. Our current nanny walks the dog as well and we’re happy to extend the working day to accommodate a 60-90minute dog walk as well.
My husband and I are both doctors. I like to think we’re good employers. Our current nanny has been with us for 6 years and a previous nanny was with us for 4 years.
My Requirements
We are looking for someone who can look after our children from June 2025, there is some flexibility with start date. As the school is a bit of a trek, we are looking for someone who can drive.
We want someone who is fluent in English, reliable, trustworthy and punctual. We have a strong work ethic and expect the same from our nanny. By that, I don't mean we're going to flog you to death, but we do need someone who won't let us down so we can go to work and do our jobs.
We are open to having someone who is new to nannying or just wanting a bit of childcare experience to fit around University/college.
We want someone who is active, fun and will keep the children busy as well as support them with homework after school. Most importantly we would like someone who is going to enjoy spending time with our children.
