I am 37 and have always worked with children since I left school. I am very much a family person and have 4 young nephews that are a big part of my life (4-13 year olds).
I am a very active person and enjoy the outdoors. I like to explore new places. I also enjoy going to the gym 3 times a week.
My Experience
As a dedicated nanny since April 2024, I currently care for two girls (1 and 3 years old) Monday to Wednesday, and twin boys and their brother (2 years old and 4 years old) on Thursday and Friday.
I prioritize creating engaging, educational, and fun experiences tailored to the children's interests. Whether it’s taking them to museums, farms, or other learning environments, I’m always seeking new opportunities for exploration. I also enjoy incorporating cooking activities, allowing the children to help prepare meals and enjoy the creative process.
In addition to fostering individual growth, I focus on promoting social development by attending baby and toddler groups, where the children can interact with their peers. I also have a strong network of other nannies, and we frequently meet at local parks for additional play and socialisation.
Before transitioning to nannying, I spent over 15 years working in day nurseries, where I worked with children aged 0-5 years and advanced from Nursery Nurse to Nursery Manager. I successfully ran an Ofsted Outstanding nursery, developing a deep understanding of child development and the importance of working in partnership with parents to support children's milestones.
I’m known for being friendly, calm, and approachable, with a commitment to providing a nurturing and enriching environment for every child I care for. I hold an enhanced DBS, am on the update service, and am paediatric first aid trained, along with a range of additional qualifications that enhance my childcare expertise.
My Qualifications
I completed my Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education in 2006. I then went on to complete my Foundation Degree in Early Years in 2011.
My Availability
From September 2025, I will have nannying availability for Thursday and Friday's. I am available evening and weekends for babysitting.
