About Me
Hi I’m lauren, mother of 2. I have a son in reception and my daughter is in yr 7. I am looking for a Nannying position that will give me the flexibility to take my children to and from school. I currently live in Borehamwood but I am moving to Bushey end of April/May. I have a lot of experience in childcare as well as being a mother myself. I used to be a senior room leader for a baby room. I enjoy attending baby/toddler classes aswell as setting up activities at home, helping a child learn through play. As a family we eat very limited processed foods at home, I enjoy cooking and knowing what’s in our food. If you feel I may be a good fit for your family please get in touch.
My Experience
My first job was in a Nursery in Borehamwood called Kidstuff. I worked there from Dec 2005- April 2007.
From April 2007- Sept 2007 I was temping at Nurseries around herts.
Sept 2007- Jan 2010 I worked at Cheerful Faces in Borehamwood. I worked with a Childminder and her Daughter a year older than me and we were childminding assistants. We cared for children from the ages of 3mnths-14 yrs. We cared for children during the day as well as doing school drop off and pick ups throughout the day.
March 2010- October 2012, I worked at Boys and girls nursery in stanmore, working my way from a Nursery assistant to a Senior Nursery Nurse of the Baby room. I left to go on maternity leave but motherhood is was too much fun that I couldn't bare to go back to work full time so I worked as a receptionist 25-30hrs a wk, evenings and wkends before going to work in a primary school until I had my son jan 2020. I now work again as a receptionist working evenings and wkends. I will consider leaving this job for the right position.
My Qualifications
I have a Level 3 Nvq qualification in childcare and development.
Paediatric First aid.

My Availability
I am available 9:30-12:00 3 mornings a wk. For childcare of to help with housework after the morning school run/ work rush in the morning. Also available some evenings for babysitting and weekends x
