My Requirements
I’m looking for a dedicated tutor to support my 10-year-old son in maths and English as he prepares for his SATs and transition to secondary school next year. He needs help building his confidence in problem-solving and developing a stronger understanding of maths. A patient and encouraging tutor would be ideal, as he thrives on praise and puts in good effort but can sometimes shy away from challenges due to self-doubt.
I would prefer 1:1 sessions (no group tuition) and would ideally like lessons to take place at my home. However, I may consider travelling to the tutor depending on location. Flexibility in scheduling would also be appreciated.
Additionally, I have a 6-year-old who I may also be interested in tutoring, particularly in phonics, reading, and writing, but my main focus is on my eldest at this time.
