I’m a 31 year old female, I live a healthy yet enjoyable lifestyle, I’ve had a love and interest in caring for children since I was I 16 years old. I take pride in cooking and have a large passion for creating delicious meals from all around the world. I also enjoy travelling, keeping active and fit; Yoga, Horse riding, water sports, hiking, dining and exploring. I'm a non-smoker and a very organised, structured person. I am born in the UK My native language is English and my background is Suriname Dutch & Indian. I have dual-nationality (European & British).

I help and support children prepare for exams; Maths, English, Verbal & Non reasoning. I motivate and encourage children's self-confidence positively to best facilitate their academic goals and maintain high communication and work closely in a team with families.
I’m experienced in House Management and Personal Assistance - I'm happy to help with errands: grocery shopping (online or shop), diary management, party planning, holiday planning, research, organising children’s activities, organising households, creating inventories, reports, paying bills, handling builders, reporting house fixtures/issues and including housekeeping to a high standard and keeping the working environment presentable and organised at all times… I treat my employers home like my own. Also by ensuring the household is stocked at all times with basics, food, toiletries ect.
I worked as a Nursery Teacher for 2 years, I find routine and time is very important and I use these techniques now which allows children to develop more efficiently, ideally following the British Curriculum, Waldorf and Montessori. I have experience in weaning and caring for young babies and have assisted with toilet/potty training, which have been successful.
I have experience in supporting children emotionally and mentally and have developed great relationships by being the ‘big sister & agony aunt’, also by doing fun age appropriate activities together with children and getting them involved in home tasks. I find it’s important for children to stay active and be outdoors and I like to encourage this!
I'm firm but fair - Im able to handle bad behaviour and use positive reinforcement or gentle parenting, if desired. I'm able to assist and help with children's homework and projects and ensure they are completed to an excellent standard.
As mentioned, I take pride in cooking delicious food and can create and organise nutritional weekly meal plans and Allow families and children to explore diverse food and dishes, also taking allergies into consideration; nuts, gluten ect.
