My Summary
Maternity Nurse
About Me
Hi,
I’m Seda, an experienced Infant Care Specialist with 9 years of expertise in newborn and baby care. I have supported babies from their very first day, helping to ensure their healthy and balanced development.
With a strong background as a Maternity Nurse specialising in newborn care, I have dedicated my career to supporting babies during the most crucial early stages of life. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Koç University, one of the most prestigious institutions in Turkey, and began my career in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at the American Hospital.
During this time, I gained hands-on experience caring for premature babies, managing neonatal emergencies, and addressing common early-life health concerns such as colic and reflux. I also provided families with personalised support in breastfeeding, establishing sleep routines, and promoting healthy development from day one.
Since moving to London in 2024, I’ve continued my work as a maternity nurse, helping families adapt to their newborn’s needs with a compassionate and professional approach. I believe every baby is unique, and every family deserves tailored support to ensure a healthy and happy start to their journey. My goal is to make life easier for parents while helping their little ones thrive.

Look no further for a maternity nurse- from the moment Seda stepped into our house I knew we were in very safe hands and just wish the time didn’t pass by so quickly!
One thing that really stood out about Seda is her professionalism. She takes her work very seriously, is incredibly organised, hygienic and cautious but also knows how to have fun and always put a smile on my face even during the most tricky times of having a newborn. Her years as a nurse at NICU mean that she has lots of experience, has encountered all sorts of situations and is full of useful advice. When our daughter caught virus, Seda did absolutely everything to help her and you could really see how much she cares and how much she knows! She also was an excellent teacher and was generous in sharing her knowledge, she taught us about playtime and our baby’s development, how long she should be awake for and how to read her cues.
She has gotten on brilliantly with our first child as well. Being a mum she is a natural with him too. It has been a lovely dynamic having her in the house. Both myself and my family will be very upset when she leaves and asked her to stay in touch. Seda became part of my family and very close to our hearts.
