About Me

We are a family of four looking for regular babysitting for our daughter Marcella (Mars), who is 2 and some after school care for our 6 year old daughter Leonora (Leo).

I, Danielle, own and operate two businesses, both from home and from my city centre office . I often find it difficult to juggle being a working mom but love my girls fiercely and make sure they both have plenty of quality time with me.

Duncan has a hybrid work schedule, and we feel lucky that he recently dropped down to working 3 days a week. He mostly looks after the girls on his days off, but also helps me run my businesses.

I am in the first year of establishing my second business, so we have an increased need for childcare now until the fall as Marcella isn’t starting nursery until then.

We’ve been incredibly fortunate to have the help of a wonderful young woman we met through here for most of the last year and plan to continue working with her for as long as she will have us, but as she is a student who is not local to the area, her availability fluctuates and we would like to have a bit more help. We find ourselves just barely getting by at the moment and are consistently a bit burnt out.

The tiny ladies:

Leo is sunshine in 6 year old form with a sassy streak. She loves singing, dancing and all things creative. She is very inquisitive, loving to learn random facts about everything and loves nothing better than to be read to/with.

Mars is a talkative and playful two year old who loves being outside and lights up whenever her big sister enters the room. She has a big personality for someone so little and loves to do things to try and make you laugh.
