Hello, we are a family based in Hutton, Brentwood. We have 4 children, aged 7, 5, 2 and 2 months. I am a stay at home mum looking for help with childcare and around the home. The role would be to work with me as a team to help everything in the home run smoothly and we can ensure it’s a happy atmosphere and steady environment where each child gets their needs met through quality interaction with a grown up.

During term time, the 5 year old and 7 year old are at school until 3/4pm and the 2 year old is at preschool until 1pm. After the school run, there is only the baby home so we can split responsibilities throughout the morning, either baby watching or household chores. After 1pm, the 2 year old is home and it would be nice to spend quality time with them before collecting the older 2. After school we have homework and post dinner tidy up to complete.

Examples of responsibilities:

School run for 6 and 4 year old who are at the same school 5-10 min drive (driving is necessary). I can stay home with the 2 young ones during school runs or we can swap over and I do school runs and the younger ones stay home.

Looking after the 2 year old or holding the newborn baby at home while I spend quality time with the other one

Watching baby while the others are at preschool/school so I can shower/get jobs done that need doing.

light housework and cleaning (loading/unloading dishwater, laundry, hoovering, mopping, tidying playroom etc) when opportunity arises. The 2 year old is at preschool each morning until 1pm and only the baby is home so this would be a good time for that.

Help with children’s meal prep (lunch for toddler or children’s evening meal prep, making baby food etc).

After school childcare of the others so that I can complete homework quietly with each school child individually (just reading, spelling etc)

Help with homework

Supervision of younger children while I complete piano practice with the 2 eldest or when piano teacher is here.

Helping organise the home

Joining us on school holiday days out to local farms, parks etc as an additional adult
