About Me
Hi, my name is Vera, I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder. I am married with my husband for 22 years and we have two lovely children,15 years old and 12 years old. We live in a fantastic clean, bright, airy with large safe garden. Our back garden has got a secure door which lead to Sunny Hill Park. Sunny Hill Park is a nice and secure park with a huge variety of sports activity as well of a gated playground area where the children can enjoy their outdoor activity. With 6 years of nursery experience, I am fully qualified and highly trained. I recently decided to have my own setting as I have a lot of passion for children and wanted to expand my career. I am very patient, outgoing, friendly, trustworthy and reliable person.
I am able to provide the free 15/30 hours funding for 2 year olds and 3/4 year olds.
I love to work with children and actively with parents, discussing children's needs, progress and personal interests. I want to ensure each child develops their potential in my care and so I have a big place to provide excellent childcare facilities and services. I do a lot creative activities with children for different age group to ensure that they are cover the different development area of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), while learning through play. I set my setting as nursery room followed 7 areas. I follow the Development Matters in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to support each individual child's development pathway.
Indoor I have a play room well equipped with various stimulating activities such as, cars, trains truck, mega blocks, books, kitchen corner, dressing up corner educational toys, paint etc. I have a quite area for sleep and relaxation too.
Outdoor play area includes sand pit, Tractor, little tikes car, kitchen corner, trampoline and little house. I aim to provide above nursery standard care facilities and activities both fun and educational, but also to maintain a warm homely environment for your child.
I am here to work with you to make this process as easy, relaxed and straightforward as possible , and to make the whole experience fun and comforting for your child.

My Experience
Being a mother of 2 lovely children aged 15 and 12 years has shown me how important a positive and nurturing environment is to your child. I was also volunteering at my children's Primary School in Reception, Year 1 and Year 3 for almost 2 years.
Also with 6 years of nursery experience I am fully qualified and highly trained. I have been working in different age group. I have worked with a special education needs children. I have experience with managing behaviour in early years. I really enjoy and look forward to work every single day with little children.

My daughter attended setting for a month as a 18 months baby. Even though it was her first time being out home, Ms Vera reassured my daughter and allowed her to adapt. We are sorry to leave the setting only due to family circumstances. The setting is very clean, bright and cosy. My baby girl even took naps which she was never able to do when mummy is away! There was a lot of activities, educational toys and my girl participated in circle time making new friends. There were healthy meals provided and I was sent pictures to see how my little girl is doing. It was pleasure to work with Vera as she is very caring and helpful person. I recommend her services

We are very happy with Vera, she is such a calm and loving person . My little boy like her so much, I was worried leaving him because he is a very active boy but they are having lots of activities no time to get bored so he is so happy there. I’m glad how much his behaviour improved with her, now he can sit down for more than 2 minutes and play with toys and other kids. I can really recommend this place.

Vera is an amazing childminder for our 1 year old little girl. She’s been in her setting since last September and has developed in leaps and bounds since then. Since starting with Vera our little one has started saying lots of words and her physical development has also improved. Vera makes what look like delicious meals and our daughter really enjoys eating there (more than she does at home!).
We can see just how much Vera cares about our daughter and wants to see her thrive. She encourages her to be independent and supports her learning well. She sends us photos daily, updates us on her progress and tells us where we could aid her development more. The children do lots of structured activities like painting, colouring, singing songs, story time etc.
Our toddler gets on well with Vera’s family and it’s clear they treat her like one of their own.
Communication wise, I don’t agree with the negative review. Vera set our her policies clearly from the start and always goes above and beyond to be accommodating, kind and professional when we forget about them. She even responds to out of hours messages. Vera is a lovely, caring and helpful person and our daughter loves her and gets on well with the other children in her care.

We are beyond happy with our experience with Vera, we've been sending our daughter (nearly 2 years old) since September last year and we've seen her develop and grow by leaps and bound in that time. She's learning so much, and the days seem very well structured and organised. We receive constant communication throughout the day about our daughters progress and what they're getting up to. Vera is very considerate in catering to dietary needs also, and her family have shown nothing but love for our little one.

My 3.5 year old son went there for only a few months as we had recently moved to the area. I was quite impressed with Vera's style of childcare - Vera sent us regular pictures throughout the day & gave us updates on his progress at end of the day, she put in effort to learn my son's interest and tune that into his activities.
She even selflessly recommended that we should try for a nursery school for our son as he can benefit more in a scheduled learning style as he is quick learner and her recommendation turned out really great for us.
My son learned so much even during his short time with Vera and highly recommend her.

Vera has been looking after our daughter for a few months now and I must say she is very caring and lovely person. Our daughter is happy in her setting and loves her and we see how quickly she is learning new things.
Communication is perfect. We get pictures/videos of our daughter's activities regularly.
I highly recommend Vera!

We have sent both our daughters to Vera's setting with our oldest starting beginning of 2022. Our first daughter's experience was great with a friendly family environment combined with other children she got on well with. This is why we decided to have our second daughter go to the setting as well, unfortunately we felt the whole environment has changed since September and after 6 weeks of trying we decided it wasn't a positive setting for our 2nd child.
It was a disappointing end as Vera chose an unprofessional style of communication when we followed the termination procedure in the contract. She conducted herself in a such manner which concerned us enough to just pay out the termination period without sending our daughter to her care.

It was nice to hear that your first child had a great experienced and got on well with other child in my setting. We really liked K, every morning she gave me a beautiful smile and hug. She was really a sweet girl.
Unfortunetly your youngest child did not work as good as you expected, as you and dad said "she was quite clingy and different compare to her sister" but she was different girl when she was with other friends.
I accepted your short notice and appreaciated it.
I understood you and daddy decision to keep her in your care. I, my assistant and children really missed M.
I will try my best to improve my communication with parents in the future.

Both my daughters started with Vera back in October 2021. We are so happy with the service Vera provides. The girls love her home cooked food and trips out. Vera is very professional and loves teaching the children she has in her care. We couldn’t ask for better childcare for our babies. Our older daughter is leaving to join school in September but I am happy our youngest is with Vera for longer.

Vera is an absolutely amazing childminder! Our son (12 months) has been with Vera for the past 6months and I can’t recommend her highly enough. Her facilities are superb, with daily activities and learning focus being amazing and the care couldn’t be better. Her family welcomed our son as if he was their own, which I cannot thank her highly enough. She deserves more than 5 stars!!!
