About Me
We provide first-class quality care for children in a warm and caring 'home from home' that is a mentally stimulating, safe environment.
Based in the Cheshunt area, it is easily located between Cheshunt station and Theobald's Grove station.
Children have access to an ample garden space. We provide play and learning materials, books and activities to suit the needs of children of various ages and stages of development, such as:-
- Shapes
- Colours
- Numbers
- Reading
- Writing
- Spelling
We are also in the process of implementing extra English and Spanish sessions for young learners. In addition to this, we will be offering sports days, fun runs, mini football coaching, gymnastics, karate, dance, and tennis. The above are all subject to availability and parental permission.
We focus on the six early years foundation stages, which are as follows:-
1. Personal, Social and Emotional development
2. Communication, Language and Literacy
3. Problem Solving, Reasoning and Numeracy
4. Knowledge and Understanding of the World
5. Physical development
6. Creative development
We also hold Public Liability Insurance and complete DBS checks.

I am a professional, qualified, Ofsted-registered childminder with over 17 years of experience and a member of the National Childminding Association (NCMA).
My Qualifications
- CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Home-Based Childcare
- First Aid certificate for childcare workers
- Certificate in Safeguarding and Child Protection
- Level 2 award in Food Safety in Catering
- Certificate for early years foundation stage awareness
- NVQ level 3 (in the process of completing)
My Availability
We provide a pick-up and drop-off service from local schools and playgroups in the Hertfordshire area. We also run half-term and summer holiday care.
We also provide an all-day Childcare Service during school holidays, a service for parent(s) attending training courses, work experience and interviews.
I have a fully qualified childcare assistant working alongside me on days when I have my maximum quota of children. I am also implementing the assistance of a qualified English Language teacher, sports coaching and dance professionals, who are all DBS checked.

My Fees
- Childminding from £8.50 per hour
Please enquire about our fees.
Before 7 am and after 6.30 pm, fees increase per hour. Childcare Vouchers are accepted. Now offering 15hrs free childcare from 2yrs+ and 30hrs for qualifying children

If Janet wasn’t available to look after my children then I wouldn’t have returned to work.
It’s home from home and my kids can’t wait for the half term to go to Aunty Janet’s and see what they’re doing for the day.

My children have been looked after by Peace of Mind child minding for many years now. I have a 3 year old boy and a 1 year old girl. They have learned so much as they have many daily activities, outings and lots of educational activities too. I couldn't ask for anything more for my children. A very rewarding experience for them.
