Our son is 7 year old autistic child and at the time of starting private tutoring with Ms Hans, we was about 2 years behind the school curriculum. Ms Hans was highly recommended to us and so we gave it a try. WOW what a difference.
He started seeing Ms Hans half way through his Y2 school year. Within 6 months he started to read and write.
4 & 1/2 of these months were during COVID so he was not at school and home learning was not really working. But he still achieved Y1 targets in this time.
Ms Hans works in alignment with the school curriculum and also knows a lot about autism and the complexities and behaviors this sometimes brings. This gave us much needed comfort. Her environment is calm, quiet and peaceful.
Ms Hans was able to work with him and implement functional processes and tools to help him focus and learn.
She is very professional and structured which was beneficial to him. She is easy to talk to and positive about him and his progress. Ms Hans adapts her learning approach and skills to suit the student and is happy to try new things. She keeps frequent and good communication with us so we can see his progress and achievements all the time.
We have, do and would definitely recommend Ms Hans.
