My Requirements

We live in Barnes and are looking for a caring, skilled and responsible French-speaking nanny to look after our son, who has just turned four, starting as soon as possible.

Days and hours:
We require a live-out, part-time nanny, who will have sole charge of our son (both my husband and I work full time). Specific requirements are Monday, Thursday and Friday afternoons (3.10-6.40pm) during term time and two/three full days (8.30am-6.30pm) during eight weeks of school holidays (ideally Monday, Thursday and Friday, but with some flexibility). We’d appreciate flexibility to adjust hours/days from time to time.

About our son:
Our son is sociable, active, fascinated by the world and full of smiles. We try to nurture his curiosity by providing a fun and stimulating environment. We’d like our nanny to do the same, whilst keeping him safe and happy. He loves learning and attends a French/English bilingual school, and we would like a nanny who will speak to him in French only.

Duties:
Duties will include collecting our son from school (in Fulham), taking him to classes, preparing meals for him, doing his laundry, keeping children’s areas in the home tidy, and encouraging his development and communication in French.

About our family:
We’re a kind and loving family, we keep active and healthy, we love music, sport and travel, we work hard, we’re organised and we have a tidy house - most of the time! As a valued member of our household, our nanny will be someone who shares our values, is diligent and for whom looking after our son is a vocation, not just a job.

Requirements:
Our nanny must be legally permitted to work in the UK and will be formally on payroll. We would like a non-smoker, who is COVID-19 vaccinated. Driving licence strongly preferred. Our nanny must have appropriate childcare qualifications (including paediatric first aid) and DBS check, fluency in French, and ideally experience with babies and young children.
