I work in a child-centred way using elements of art therapy, play therapy and speech therapy to bring out the best in children. I can model Adult-Child Interaction techniques for communicating with your child.
My Experience
I have considerable experience as a Speech Therapist working for the NHS and am now working part-time in a private clinic with a Sensory Integration approach, and for the NHS, (Oxleas Foundation Trust, school -based service). Prior to this I worked as a Nanny. My most recent comparable experience was working as a Speech Therapy Assistant to a private family in Monaco, both in school and then remotely from the family home. I worked on a one-to-one basis, helping my client access learning, language and social opportunities. I have recently qualified as a Counsellor for Children with Place2be, set to gain accreditation with the BACP once I have completed the counselling hours quota. I am currently in training to be a yoga teacher
I recently finished a very happy position of over a year with a private family whose little one was on the autistic spectrum. The position ended due to a change in family circumstances; references can be supplied from this post on request.

B.A. English/Philosophy, PGDip. Speech Therapy, Foundation in Art Therapy, PGDip. course for counselling children completed, (Place2be).

My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Nannying from £20.00 per hour (gross)
