About Me
Hello, my name is Isabel and I am experienced primary school teacher offering private tuition. I have taught across Key Stage One and Two. I enjoy helping children develop a love of learning by creating interactive learning experiences and making learning fun. I am available for tutoring (in person or online) and can offer support across the curriculum. If you have any questions, please let me know.
I am based in Furzedown.
My Experience
I have taught across KS1 and 2 in lots of different year groups. Most recently, I have taught in Year One and Two, so have lots of experience of preparing children for SATs and the phonics screening. I have experience of teaching children with a range of additional needs.
For the last couple of years I’ve been providing private tuition working on a 1:1 basis. I can teach all subjects and have a wealth of resources to support learning. I do a mixture of online and in person tuition - please let me know what works best for you!
My Qualifications
I have a MEd in Primary Education with QTS, specialising in Special Educational Needs in which I achieved a 2:1. I have completed further learning courses, most recently "Supporting Children's Mental Health and Wellbeing" and I am currently learning sign language. I also have done lots of CPD training when teaching about a range of things. I am currently completing my TEFL course to teach English as an Additional Language.
