My Summary

My Experience

I have experience in childcare, I was a nanny for a family in Cambridge (my hometown) for a year. I absolutely loved working for them and if you wanted a reference they would be happy to provide one. I looked after three boys, aged 2-8, and during my time with them the little girl was born! My roles included school pick up, dinner prep and clean up, chess and piano practice and homework help. However it was not limited to that, working with kids makes you realise how flexible you must be! My other professional experience is mainly in hospitality. Before university I previously attended a boarding school where I feel I gained real lifestyle skills that are very adaptable to childcare. Living away from home since a young child means I am mature and independent, having to learn how to cook and clean for myself. Other attributes I gained was through helping pastoral staff out with younger students as I got older, by planning games, giving pep talks and when needed putting kids to bed. I also learnt the importance of family and stepping into the multi-faceted roles that are needed in different circumstances.

My Availability

I am mostly flexible, however need availability which will not clash with my studies.
