About Me
Hello I am Molly,
I am a 27 year old female who works as a maternity support worker at a local hospital. I have been there for 5 and a half years so have extensive experience caring for newborn babies and their families during birth and the antenatal and postnatal period. Therefore I have regular and consistently up to date first aid training for both adult and baby. I am DBS checked through the trust. I’m BFI trained in both supporting artificial and have certified breast feeding qualifications. I am passionate about feeding support and supporting families in establishing feeding routine that works for them from birth whatever that may be. I am kind, caring compassionate and bubbly. I’m reliable, flexible and accommodating where possible. I am a warm person and always carry myself with a smile. I also have experience working with older toddlers and children through family. I have two younger sisters ages 3 and 4 1/2 who I regularly provide all aspects of care for. All my certification within the trust I work in means I have adult life support and neonatal/paediatric basic life support training. So that you have peace of mind when your babies or children are in my care.
My Experience
5 1/2 years newborn and family care in hospital setting during the antenatal, intrapartum ( labour) and postnatal period. Experience within all aspects of artificial feeding& bfi breast feeding trained. Confident and competent in breast feeding support and establishing breast feeding. All areas of newborn care. Feeding, washing, nappy changing, swaddling, safe sleeping. Baby observations and vital signs in both well babies and babies on pathways due to risk factors. First hand experience and effective use of adult and paediatric first aid.

My Availability
I am still working in my role at the hospital but Have availability on my days off and annual leave periods on a regular basis. I am rostered around 2-3 months in advance so can be contacted about dates in the future. Any dates/ times that are required would be worth contacting me about as it may be that I am off that day or night and am able to help. At the moment it would be on an ad hoc basis until I am able to reduce my hours at my current job.
