Hi I’m Caitlan, I’m 19 years old from Wales. I am fluent in English which is my first language but am also fluent in Welsh. I am a person who has always loves to help other people. I am a very patient and very reliable. I finished my studies in school and went straight into work. I have worked with many customers in my first job and also two disabled young adults ageing from 13-21, so I am very experienced when it comes to interacting and caring for others confidently and comfortably.
My Experience
I don’t have any degrees in childcare but I do have a lot of experience from working in care for 2+ years. I currently work in a private household as a carer for a severely disabled young person. I am required to give and monitor medicines. Feed either orally or through a peg and monitor behaviour. Provide reassurance and keep them company. I also am responsible to help wash and dress them. I am can also help with school work and physio treatment. I am also more than happy to maintain and clean around the house to keep things tidy.
My Qualifications
In my studies from school I got grades ranging from A-Cs. I don’t have any qualifications or degrees in care but have been fully trained by my previous jobs and I am very aware and know a lot about care and how to give the right care.
My Availability
I am available anytime Monday to Friday. I can do any hours but preferably would like to do day shifts.
