My Requirements

The ideal candidate will be fun, imaginative, creative and love the country life. Our two girls love spending time outdoors as well as being creative with arts and crafts, role play and gymnastics so we would love to find someone who can engage in fun activities around the children’s interests as well as helping to keep our home running smoothly. Our eldest daughter is at full time school and our 3 year old attends a farm nursery each day so during the day there will be time to carry out the household tasks such as family laundry, cooking of meals, keeping the house clean and tidy. An interest in food and cooking would be great with experience of encouraging the children to eat well and getting them to help you cook too.

We both work full-time, own our own businesses and commute to London weekly so are looking for a trustworthy, reliable and organised live-in nanny who has a proactive independent attitude to help relieve some of the day-to-day pressures when we are working and away from home. Due to our busy work schedules and commuting we will require one overnight per week and one evening of babysitting each week. We would also like to find someone who is happy to travel with the family once or twice a year.

We are currently renovating our lovely Victorian home, which overlooks Victoria Park in Frome which is within walking distance to all local amenities, shops, markets, bars and lovely attractions of Frome. Your accommodation is a newly decorated double bedroom and private shower room in the house.

This is a permanent position.

Details of any training needed for this job: Paediatric First Aid, Full DBS
Details of any qualifications needed for this job: Level 3 in childcare or above
Days of work: Monday -Friday
Hours of work: 7am-7pm, approx. 8 hours per day
