About Me
Hello,
My name is Safeena and I am an Ofsted registered childminder, currently living in Beckton . I am a fun, kind and chatty play-worker who absolutely loves caring for children. I have always had a natural love for children and find working with them is rewarding. I enjoy supporting children in their development and look forward to seeing them progress and grow into great human beings, who will change the world.
I have 3 children who are grown up and 2 grand children. I live with 2 of my children & see my grandchildren on weekends, etc. I have been living in my apartment close to 2 years now & it has the best facilities available, being 5 minutes away from a park, 15 minutes away from local libraries, etc.
My apartment is a recent new build, which ensures your children would be using the best facilities I can offer. In my care, I provide wholesome healthy snacks and meals all day. As for social related activities, one example would be going to the park, fulfilling the enjoyment of playing games outdoors. Also library sessions are good to develop a child’s reading & writing skills. I have made an exciting & playful environment for any child, which I hope gives them great memories.

My Experience
As a mother, I have experience raising three children. In addition to this, I have two beautiful grandchildren and niece & nephews who I have helped nurture.
I have experience working with children in a variety of childcare environments over the past 20 years, including a nursery creche, primary school, community centre, and breakfast and after-school clubs.
My first experience working with children aged 6 to 10 years old began in 1992 while I was enrolled in a level 2 teaching assistant TA programme at Colegrave Primary School.
I took part in the day-to-day operations and general care of the students. Additionally, I participated in the development of the school's curriculum by developing activities for children in my care, that would foster growth in the six areas of learning.
I have been working in a breakfast and after-school programme for the past 7.5 years and have always loved being among the children there.
