I'm a responsible, organised and hard working professional with a big passion and knowledge about children, specially babies. I've got a wide knowledge about baby development, milestones and transitions, and I would be happy to work alongside the family to provide the best start for their little child.
I came from Spain six years ago and that gave me the confidence and experience to grow up as a person and profesional.
When taking care of children I consider myself to be warm, caring and loving, with a smile on my face. I enjoy and value my job and the children I take care of, and I aimed to build a strong and good relationship with them and their families.
My Experience
I've worked as a nanny, maternity nurse, nursery teacher and babysitter.
I've got a wide range of experience in different settings and families.
I also have quite a lot of experience working with babies from newborns until 24 months (5-6years).
In my last nursery I was in charge of coordinating the baby curriculum, as well as training the staff relating to babycare, milestones and Pikler pedagogy.
I've got a broad knowledge about children milestones, weaning, development transitions, sleep paterns, ...
I speak english, spanish and catalan.
My Qualifications
I've got the level 4 NVQ in Childhood Studies/Childcare.
Level 4 in Maternity nurse.
I'm currently studying towards a university degree in Pedagogy.
Spanish teacher for foreigners in level A1 and A2 (beginner).
