About Me
Hello I am a mum of two, now young adult, children.
I currently work as support/bank staff as a Nursery Assistant at a Prestigious Preschool.
I have worked there since 2010 and have had various roles within the nursery. I also provide cover for the cook when she is away and provide home cooked meals for 70 plus children.
I have lived in Waltham Forest all my life and love the area in which we live.
I enjoy walking my dog in the forest, the Arts, cooking, animals, nature, the City of London and travel.
I occasionally pet sit for people when they are away from home.
I enjoy my work and I love to see children develop and grow.
My Experience
My background is in government service and libraries. After having my two children I opted for a career in education so I could base my work around my children.
I have worked with children from preschool age to secondary.
Supported children with additional needs and currently work with children from 18 months up to 4 years.
My Qualifications
Educated to A level.
I am first aid trained. DBS checked. Hold a food hygiene certificate.
I have a full clean driving licence and my own car. I have public liability insurance.
I like to regularly update my Personal Development and have various courses,
Level 3 childcare, yoga for children, Prevent. Nutrition for young children, Understanding children with additional needs, Coping with challenging behaviour, lifting and handling, identifying FGM and Food allergy awareness.
