About Me
We are looking to employ somebody to care for our 5yo daughter on Tuesdays and Thursdays specifically in January and February, with opportunity to extend beyond this.
We are a family of 5 that require childcare support in our home during the week for our 5yo daughter who has special needs due to a rare genetic disorder. Our daughter is a delight (always happy) and is easy to look after however she requires constant observation and support with her mobility, feeding and play. Some basic training around feeding will be provided by the local community nurses.
On the days worked either myself (mum) or dad will be home or working from home. We have another daughter who is 3 years old and a son who is 11 months old (both attend nursery).
Experience with special needs children desired but not essential.

My Requirements
Childcare requirements include:
- sensory play
- setting up and observing feeds (training will be provided)
- changing nappies
- supporting motor skills development
- some lifting / carrying between equipment (eg supportive chair, standing frame and/or floor mat)
- bath (only if hours in early evening)
- cuddles :)
